AI training for industrial companies – required by Art. 4 EU AI Act

Since 2 February 2025, Article 4 of the EU AI Act requires companies that use AI to ensure their staff have sufficient AI literacy. I deliver this hands-on – from the shop floor, not the lecture hall.

No legal advice – practical implementation of the training obligation.

What the training covers

A half-day in-house training (approx. 4 hours), on-site in Tyrol and western Austria or remote. Hands-on from production – for everyone in your company who works with AI or is responsible for it.

  • What AI can and cannot do in your operations – with examples from production, not from the lecture hall
  • Everyday risks: GDPR, shadow AI, hallucinations – and how to handle them
  • Concrete rules for daily work: what your teams may use, and how

Frequently asked questions

Since 2 February 2025, Article 4 requires companies that provide or use AI systems to ensure their staff have sufficient AI literacy – matched to prior knowledge and context of use. The regulation does not prescribe how to train; in practice, documented training with a certificate is the common approach. Important: this is not legal advice. I deliver the training obligation hands-on – the legal assessment of your AI use belongs with your legal department or law firm.
Everyone who works with AI or is responsible for its use: production managers, plant managers, QA, maintenance – and the office staff who already use ChatGPT and similar tools. In practice, a mixed group of up to 12 people works best: same rules, same language, one documented certificate for everyone.
The half-day AI training costs a flat 2,400 €, including materials and certificates of attendance, plus travel outside Tyrol. The one-day AI potential workshop costs 2,900 €, including a preparation call and a results document. The initial consultation is free – from the workshop onwards, everything has a price.
Depends on the current funding programs, e.g. KMU.DIGITAL in Austria – but budgets are often exhausted quickly. In the initial consultation I will tell you honestly whether anything is currently available.
No. It is a hands-on AI literacy training under Art. 4 – not legal advice. You receive documented content and a training certificate for your compliance records. For binding legal questions about your AI use, your legal department or law firm is the right address.
